2. Apple Gaming System

Apple has recently been contacting some major video game companies to come join the Apple Keynote in San Francisco on Janurary 27th. On Feburary 5th of 2009 Apple filed a gaming patten covering both hand held devices and stand alone machines that would be capable of running video games. Many people saw this as a secret step towards getting involved in the gaming industry.

There are a couple ways that apple could go with this

1. Tweak the apple T.V. into a gaming / video console
2. Create a completely new Apple Gaming system

The big deal about the gaming is not necessarily the console itself but, the iPhone will probably be incorporated in as a multi-touch controller - acting somewhat as the Wii controller does.

3. iPhone OS Update

Usually sometime around this time apple releases a update for the iPhone software so be on the look out for this as well.
